Our Program

We follow the teachings of Maria Montessori, an Malian educator and physician. Our school offers the best in traditional Montessori education.

We offer three educational programs:

Parent-Toddler Class - Ages-18 months to 2½ year olds. Classes meet on Fridays, 9:30-11:30. Parents & toddlers explore the richness of the prepared Montessori environment. The young child is drawn to the many inventive "take & put" projects that enhance concentration, create curiosity & develop a love of learning at a very early age.

The morning consists of a Montessori work time, Music group time, snack, and story. Next we head for the great outdoor playground & garden! Montessori believed, “the best for the youngest”

Preparatory Class - Ages-two and three year olds. Now they learn to say good bye to their parents, work at their purposeful projects, have fun learning alongside their peers, practice potty training, take turns at group time, singing and playing games and enjoy a 3 hour day from 9 to 12:00.

These independent toddlers can attend 2 or 4 days or 5 days per week: Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday plus “Fun Fridays”. Lunch and after care until 4pm is offered also. Our school is open from 8AM to 4PM Monday through Friday.

Primary Class - Ages-three to six year olds work in a wonderfully prepared environment. The children have many hands-on materials in four basic learning areas:Practical Life, Sensorial, Language and Math plus Cultural subjects starting with Geography. The children, being in a mixed age group, love to learn from each other and help those who are younger. Within the primary class the Kindergartners learn the excitement of reading, math, continents of the world and how to conduct themselves in grace and courtesy!
