ABOUT OUR TEACHERS
Rhio Reigh, Founder
Rhio is the founder of the Rhio’s Casa dei Bambini Montessori School, conveniently located on 2427 Professional Drive in Santa Rosa. She has been teaching young children for many years and has owned and operated quality Montessori schools throughout Santa Rosa.
A Cal Poly graduate in Child Development and Master’s student in the Montessori Teacher’s Training Program at Sonoma State University; Rhio has gone on to dedicate her life to the Montessori Method of teaching in both Sonoma for over three decades.
Her sensitivity to the needs of the very young child inspired the creation of a unique & inclusive new program-the Montessori Parent-Toddlers. Unfortunately, this program is no longer offered.
The school’s former location on McDonald Avenue earned The Best Preschool in Sonoma County Award. Rhio’s current location on Professional Drive is highly regarded and Rhio, herself is renown in the area.
She has conducted a Montessori Toddler Teacher Training course in San Francisco and has been a guest speaker for a course; An Introduction to Montessori, at the Junior College.
An avid and well-recognized naturalist, Rhio is heard several board positions including president at RROS-Redwood Regional Ornithological Society. She brings her love of nature into the classroom teaching children the names of birds seen on the playground. Young children simply gravitate to her gentle aura and respect for all living things.
